People have been waiting for a perfect twitter client application for IPhone. The wait is over, Twitter has entered into an agreement with Atebits to acquire Tweetie, a leading iphone twitter client. Just like TweetDeck for windows. Tweetie will be renamed Twitter for iPhone and made free (currently $2.99) in the iTunes AppStore in the coming weeks.
Loren Brichter from AteBits will become key member of Twitter mobile team that is already having huge impact with device makers and service providers around the world. Lorens work won the 2009 Apple Design Award and Twitter will eventually launch Twitter for IPad with his help.
